A Delegation Led by the Governor of the Atyrau Region of Kazakhstan Visits Kerui and Signs a Memorandum of CooperationIssuing time:2026-05-15 16:32 Recently, Serik Zhambulovich Shapkenov,Governor of the Atyrau Region of Kazakhstan, led a delegation comprisinggovernment officials and business representatives to visit Kerui for anexchange visit. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions covering topicson oil and gas equipment manufacturing, localized production cooperation, andthe alignment of investment opportunities. They successfully signed a Memorandumof Cooperation, thereby adding another tangible achievement to the energyindustry cooperation between China and Kazakhstan.
The delegation conducted an on-siteinspection of Kerui’s intelligent manufacturing production lines, coreequipment testing center, and comprehensive quality control system. They gaineda detailed understanding of the company’s R&D capabilities and engineeringpractices across the entire industry chain—specifically in the development andmanufacturing of high-end oil and gas energy equipment, digital and intelligentenergy solutions, and green, low-carbon technologies. The Kazakhstani guestshighly commended Kerui for its large-scale manufacturing capabilities,end-to-end service system, and international-standard delivery protocols,noting that there is significant potential for highly synergistic cooperation betweenthe two parties in areas such as equipment supply, technical services, andjoint project development.
Witnessedby both parties, Sherik Zhamblovich, Governor of the Atyrau Region, and JiangZhaoting, Senior Vice President of Kerui, jointly signed a Memorandum ofCooperation, marking the entry of their collaboration into a new phasecharacterized by institutionalization and regularity. The Kazakh side extendeda sincere invitation to the management of Kerui to conduct an on-siteinspection in the Atyrau Region, with the aim of facilitating theimplementation and realization of more high-quality projects, and jointlyestablishing a model for cooperation between local governments and enterprisesin China and Kazakhstan. |
